  • To All Members, when visiting the Club at any time please remember that:

    Members are NOT PERMITTED to open the bar door for ANYONE; We continue to implore our members to not open the door for people standing outside who do not have membership cards. This is the responsibility of the Club Officers, Trustees, and Bartenders.

    All members must show their card to the bartender before being served; have the bartender on duty sign you in if you do not have your card with you.

    When you bring a guest(s) in, you must sign your guest(s) into the book and your guest(s) must leave when you do. ABC rules allow for a maximum of nine guests per visit.

    Rules are established by the NJ Alcoholic Beverage Control, we have no say in these rules, and we must adhere to these rules, or we will face fines and other actions by the NJ ABC.

    Reminder: No Smoking, Vaping, or use of E-Cigarettes while in the bar. This is a violation of NJ State Law and is a Club rule. If you wish to smoke, you must do so outside on the patio or away from the hall entrance. Thank you!

    Volunteers Needed - We are seeking some of our members to serve as volunteers during busy times in order to assist us with the security of our organization. Member volunteers would be stationed at the bar door in order to check membership cards upon entering our club. The card checks would take place only on certain nights and at certain events. The membership card checks would usually last about a couple of hours during the busiest hours and days or special event occurrences. If you are interested in becoming a membership card-checking volunteer or are interested in obtaining more information, please contact our head of security, Vince McKelvey at 609.775.5761

    		The next Division Meeting is scheduled to take place on September 18 at 7:00 P.M. The monthly meetings are about events taking place at the club, becoming informed about our shared heritage and issues that affect the Irish both here and abroad. Please consider coming out and sharing an evening with your brother Hibernians.

    The next LAOH Meeting is scheduled to take place on October 13 at 6:30 P.M.

    		HALFWAY TO ST. PATRICK'S DAY | Feeling Lucky? Come celebrate Half Way to St. Patrick's Day with us! Saturday, September 13th. Live music from The Williamsboy on the patio from 7-10 pm. This is a Family-friendly event with food specials from JI Greenhouse. Fire pits will be open on the patio, and the soccer field will be open for the kids. C'mon out and lift a pint as we mark the halfway point to St. Patrick's Day!

    		AOH CORNHOLE LEAGUE SIGN-UPS | It's about that time - The annual AOH Cornhole League will begin in September. League sign-ups are now OPEN. E-mail Ken at szczeckk01@yahoo.com to save your spot. Games will be played on Tuesday nights at either 6:30 or 7:30 pm. League will begin on or about September 23rd, after the conclusion of the Quoit League, and we will play until mid-December. There are currently openings for regular weekly players as well as substitute players. If you'd like to come try it out, please consider signing up as a substitute. Substitutes are ALWAYS needed every Tuesday.

    		IRISH FESTIVAL SUPER 50/50 | Drawing: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4th – 6:00 pm (Rain Date is Sunday, Oct. 5th). To Promote Ethnic and Cultural Events - Half of Total Proceeds to the Winner! Donation is $20.00.     		2024 HIBERNIANS OF THE YEAR | Congratulations to our 2024 Hibernians of the Year - Fred York (Foundation) and Don Lennox (Division)! Fred and Don were presented with their awards at the Annual Hibernian Workers' Party at the Club's hall where many gathered to honor these outstanding men for their contributions over the past year.     		AOH VETERANS MEMORIAL BLOCKS FOR SALE | Buy an engraved block to honor your loved ones who wore the uniform of our U.S. Military.

    Blocks are $100 each and are 6" x 12" with engraving up to three lines (no more than 12 characters and spaces per line).
