  • To all members,

Over the past few months, the bartenders, officers and trustees of the club have witnessed some members opening the bar door to admit people waiting outside.

Members are NOT ALLOWED to open the bar door for ANYONE.

The bartender on duty is the sole person who is allowed to open the door for someone outside. Officers and trustees, may, on occasion, open the door after consulting with the bartender. There are also times that the bartender may need some help when busy and grant permission for the help with the door.

The reason for this is simple. We cannot allow someone who is not a member into the club and serve them alcohol. Serving someone who is not a member could result in the loss of our license and closure of the club.

Therefore, we are going to enforce the policy that all members must show their card to the bartender before being served. If you are a member and do not have your card, ask the bartender to sign you in. You must have YOUR card with you. You may not use someone else's card. If you try to use someone else's card it will be confiscated and returned to the owner.

If you bring a guest(s) in, you must sign your guest(s) into the book and your guest(s) must leave when you do. ABC rules allow for a maximum of nine guests per visit.

These are the rules established by the NJ Alcoholic Beverage Control, we have no say in these rules, and we must adhere to these rules, or we will face fines and other actions by the NJ ABC.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

The Officers and Trustees of the Trenton AOH.

And just a reminder - Please stay home if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, or generally don't feel well. If you feel you are sick enough to get Covid-19 tested, please do not come to the club until you receive a negative test result.

Visit the New Jersey COVID-19 Information Hub

In closing, the officers and trustees of the Trenton AOH thank you for your continued support!
