VETS MEMORIAL & KNOCK SHRINE LOOKING GOOD | Over the Thanksgiving weekend, 3C Cadets Dylan Torno and Andrew Heaney from the US Coast Guard Academy volunteered to clean up the Veterans Memorial and the Lady of Knock Shrine. They were joined by Patrick McSorley a junior at Notre Dame High School. Cadet Torno is the son of Jeff and Geta Torno of Millstone Township, and Heaney is from Jacksonville, Florida. Cadet Torno’s father is a Retired Lt. of the New Jersey State Police and classmate of Jim McSorley. On behalf of the all the Hibernians we wish to thank these two fine young men for their effort and are very proud of the caliber of men we will soon have protecting our shores as members of the United States Coast Guard.
